  • First, open the “Run Program” and press the +R sign. When the dialogue box appears, type “appwiz.cpl” and enter—new window pop-ups with all of the programs that have been installed on your computer.
  • Take the steps below for both Razer Synapse and Razer Core. Select “Uninstall” from the context menu when you right-click on the application.
  • Hit the keys Windows + E to open explorer files. To get there, go to the following address: C:\Program Files (x86)\ Razer.
  • Check the “Hidden items” box on the View tab at the top of the screen.
  • 400′′>Remove all files from this folder’s location. If asked by a UAC prompting you to validate your activities, choose Yes.
  • Again hit the Windows + E keys and open the explorer. To get there, go to the following address: C:\ProgramData\Razer directories, then delete all files.
  • Type “devmgmt.msc” in the Windows + R box.
  • Expand the category of the Razer device you’re using in the device manager. Select “Uninstall device” from the context menu when you right-click on the device.
  • Select “Uninstall” and make sure “Delete the driver software for this device” is selected.
  • This should be done for all Razer devices.
  • Restart your computer after unplugging any Razer devices.
  • Turn off all firewall and antivirus software.
  • Get the most recent version of the.NET Framework from Microsoft’s official website.
  • Restart your PC.
  • Install the Razer Synapse package from the official Razer website.

Check if the Razer Synapse not opening issue persists.

  • Hit the keys Windows + E to open explorer files. To get there, go to the following address: C:\ProgramData\Razer and delete all files. 
  • Restart your PC
  • The official Razer Synapse website is where you can get the program. Save it to a convenient location.
  • Install the program on your computer. Log into your account when the installation is complete and allow Synapse to connect to the internet.
  • Simply cancel the feature update when it appears.
  • Two alerts will show on the top-left side when installing and retrieving data from the internet: Synapse Update, Razer Surround.
  • On that notice, click “Razer Surround” and then cancel it. In no situation should you update, upgrade, or install Razer Surround?
  • After deactivating the surround, click the “Synapse Update” message to update the Synapse software.
  • Start your computer again.

  • You can turn Windows Defender Firewall settings “ON” or “OFF” as your choice.

Close Razer Processes
