Ganyu Build Guide For Genshin Impact

Ganyu Build Guide For Genshin Impact

Ganyu is a Cryo Bow DPS character widely regarded as the game‘s top DPS character. Unlike most other best DPS characters, she can operate as top-tier support, offering her unrivaled flexibility.

DPS Ganyu, on the other hand, is a character that necessitates a very specific playstyle. She advocates employing Charged Shots, which necessitates manually aiming your bow. On mobile and consoles, this can be challenging. Meanwhile, a Support Ganyu depends mostly on her Elemental Burst. Therefore she may be used on any platform to the same effect. We’ll focus on DPS Ganyu in this guide because that’s how most players choose to play her, but we’ll also include comments and advice for constructing Support Ganyu.

Character Overview

Ganyu is a half-Adeptus, half-human hybrid who ensures that anything you ask of her gets completed. She never leaves anything undone. People mistake her for a young lady with blue hair and goat horns, which they misinterpret as a headdress.

Ganyu’s Talent Priority

Ganyu's Talent Priority

It is very difficult to employ Ganyu’s basic attacks. Instead, you will need to focus on her charged attack, which accounts for most of her damages. The elemental Burst of Ganyu opens up many possibilities, particularly if you want to use elemental reactions for extra damage. The following are Ganyu’s skill priorities:

 Type Name  Effect
Normal AttackLiutian Archery
Normal Attack: With a bow, shoots up to six times in a row. Charged Attack: Increase the DMG to make a more accurate Aimed Shot. Before the arrow is shot, an ice aura will build up on the arrowhead. Depending on how long the power was charged, it has distinct effects:
Charge Level 1: Launches a Cryo DMG-dealing frosty arrow. ·
Charge Level 2: Launches a Cryo DMG-inflicting Frostflake Arrow. After striking its opponent, the Frostflake Arrow blooms, delivering AoE Cryo DMG. Plunging Attack: Before descending and impacting the ground, launches a shower of arrows in midair, inflicting AoE DMG.
   Elemental Skill   Trail of Qilin
Ganyu sprints backward, avoiding all impurities and delivering AoE Cryo DMG after leaving a single Ice Lotus behind. Ice Lotus:
Constantly teases opponents in the vicinity, luring them in to fight it.
Endurance is dependent on Ganyu’s maximum health.·
When destroyed or when its time expires, it blooms lavishly, delivering AoE Cryo DMG
  Elemental Burst  Celestial Shower
Coalesces atmospheric frost and snow to call a Sacred Cryo Pearl that cleanses the area of evil. During its skill, the Sacred Cryo Pearl will constantly pour down ice shards, hitting opponents in an AoE and delivering Cryo DMG.
 First Ascension Passive Undivided Heart
Following the discharge of a Frostflake Arrow, the CRIT Rate of succeeding Frostflake Arrows and the ensuing bloom effects increases by 20% for 5 seconds.
Fourth Ascension Passive Harmony Between Heaven and Earth Active party members in the AoE of Celestial Shower receive a 20% Cryo DMG Bonus.
Passive Talent Preserved for the Hunt Refunds 15% of the ores used in the creation of Bow-type weapons.

Ganyu’s Constellations

Ganyu’s constellation is more aggressive than defensive, with C1, C4, and C6 finest.

 Constellation Name Description
Dew-Drinker (C1) The Cryo RES of enemies is reduced by 15% for 6s when you take DMG from a Charge Level 2 Frostflake Arrow Bloom. For Ganyu, a strike regenerates two Energy. Whether the Frostflake Arrow or its Bloom strikes the target, this ability can only happen once every Charge Level 2 Frostflake Arrow.
The Auspicious (C2) The Qilin’s Trail obtains an extra charge.
Cloud-Strider (C3) Increases Celestial Shower’s level by 3. The maximum level of upgrading is 15.
Westward Sojourn (C4) Those that are within the AoE of Celestial Shower receive more DMG. Over time, this impact becomes more pronounced. Increased DMG is started at 5% and increases by 5% every three seconds, up to a maximum of 25%. After the enemy exits the AoE, the effect lasts for 3 seconds.
The Merciful (C5) The trail of the Qilin’s level is raised by three. The maximum level of upgrading is 15.
The Clement (C6) When you employ Trail of the Qilin, the following Frostflake Arrow launched in the next 30 seconds does not require charging.

Ganyu, one of Liyue’s Big Three, is known for having one of the greatest DPS in the game. She’s a cryo bow unit that prefers to employ her charged strikes above the rest of her equipment. If you want to play Ganyu, you’ll need good aim, or you can shoot at the ground. Whatever makes you happy.

Ganyu Character Builds

Ganyu will most likely be on the field for most of the time, only swapping out to your sub DPS and continuing to support when you require a small amount of assistance. Apart from that, you’d be sniping with her from a distance.

Best Weapons for Ganyu

Amos’ Bow is Ganyu’s most powerful weapon. She does, however, have some F2P choices. Prototype Crescent and Hamayumi, to be specific. Other 5-star bows will typically suffice if you don’t have Amos’ Bow.

Amos’ Bow

  •  Increases DMG by 12% for both normal and charged attacks. Every 0.1 seconds that the arrow is in midair for five times after a Normal or Charged Attack is launched, DMG delivered grows by 8%.

Prototype Crescent

  •  For 10s, Charged Attack strikes on weak areas raise Movement SPD by 10% and ATK by 36%.

Hamayumi

Improves the DMG of normal attacks by 16 % and the DMG of charged attacks by 12 %. This impact is multiplied by 100% when the equipping character’s Energy reaches 100%.

Best Artefacts for Ganyu

Best Artefacts for Ganyu

The Wanderer’s Troupe is Ganyu’s general artifact set suggestion. She does, however, have other alternatives. In principle, any of these three artifact sets can be mixed and matched as long as you acquire two pieces from one and two from the other. Examine the substations to determine which are superior. If you’re going to use a lot of Melt reactions, Wanderer’s Troupe is the way to go.

Based on your Crit rate, ATK/Elemental Mastery Sands, Cryo DMG % Goblet, and Crit Rate/Crit Damage Circlet are the main numbers to keep an eye on.

Wanderer’s Troupe

  • Eighty points increase elemental Mastery due to a two-piece effect.
  • If the character uses a Catalyst or Bow, the Charged Attack DMG increases by 35 %.

Blizzard Strayer

  • Cryo DMG Bonus +15 % (two-piece effect)
  • When a character strikes an opponent whose Cryo has afflicted, their CRIT Rate is boosted by 20%. If the opponent is frozen, the CRIT Rate is enhanced by 20%.

Gladiator’s Finale

  • ATK +18% as a result of the two-piece effect.
  • If the user of this artifact set uses a Sword, Claymore, or Polearm, their Normal Attack DMG is increased by 35%

Below are AR45 Artefacts for Ganyu

Shimenawa’s Reminiscence

  • ATK +18% after a two-piece effect
  • 4-piece effect: If the character has 15 or more Energy when performing an Elemental Skill, they sacrifice 15 Energy, and their Normal/Charged/Plunging Attack DMG is raised by 50% for 10s. During that time, this impact will not be triggered again.

Martial Artist

  • 2-piece effect: Improves DMG by 15% for Normal and Charged Attacks.
  • 4-piece effect: Improves Normal Attack and Charged Attack DMG by 25% for 8 seconds after using Elemental Skill.

Resolution of Sojourner

  • ATK +18% after a two-piece effect
  • Charged Attack CRIT Rate is increased by 30% with this 4-piece effect.

Shimenawa’s Reminiscence is ideal for players that use a melt reaction-focused team. The 15 energy loss isn’t a major concern for Ganyu because she will use her Burst less in this competition. The Shimenawa’s Reminiscence 4pc will give her an ATK increase of 18% while significantly increasing her Charge Attack, which is a decent trade. Elemental Mastery also has a big impact on melt reactions.

Martial Artist is an excellent build for beginner Ganyu players since it significantly improves her core strength – she charges attacks – without imposing any negative consequences. Choose ones that have ATK or Cryo Damage as substations.

Ganyu’s greatest entry-level build is Resolution of Sojourner, which can be obtained early on and increases her Charged Attack.
